FRENCH HOLIDAYS, FRENCH NATIONAL HOLIDAYS and days of observance
• The most important Catholic, Jewish and Muslim holidays in France, but also non-religious holidays.
• Add holiday events to your device calendar.
• Hide and deactivate holiday events that don't interest you.
• Add your own holiday events (moveable feasts or fixed date events).
• Schedule notifications.
• Share holiday events by email.
• A brief description of most holiday events is included, plus a Wikipedia page for a more complete description.
• Ability to search holiday events.
• The holidays selected for French Holidays are automatically arranged by date: nearest appear at the top of the list.
FRENCH SCHOOL VACATIONS
• Dates for metropolitan France, and overseas territories (les 13 academies).
• The french school vacation dates may now be added to your device calendar! School vacation dates are simply added to your calendar as all day events - no internet connection needed. You may choose in advance which events are added (i.e. french academy / school year), then modify or later delete the calendar events with the application.
FRENCH NAME DAYS
• A choice of two tabs (or both). One tab "Saints" is a simple list of saint names with the corresponding saint for each day of the year. The other tab "Name Days", matches first names found in your address book with any corresponding french name days, from a master derived french names day list in the application. Your own names and dates may be added to the name days master list.
• Schedule notifications for name days matched from your address book.
BIRTHDAYS
• Automatically synchronized from your address book.
• Corresponding ages and photos.
• Schedule Notifications for birthdays.
PREFERENCES
• Enable or disable notifications for Holidays or Birthdays separately.
• Choose your desired time for Holiday and Birthday notifications.
• Choice of address book group for synching contacts with the Birthdays and Name Days tabs.
• Option of disabling contacts synchronization entirely, if you do not wish to use the Birthdays and Name Days tabs.
• Add French Holidays and School Holiday events directly to you device calendar.
• Choice between french and english language for the application.
• FAQ (frequently asked questions) inside the application. It is regularly updated.
• The order of the tabs may now be customized to your liking!
